Review: McDonald's Philippines Flavors of Japan

Our feeds turned Japanese on Wednesday after McDonald’s Philippines released its newest offering: “Flavors of Japan.” More than a month before the appearance of lovely cherry blossoms in the east Asian nation, McDonald’s Philippines went ahead and offered Japanese-themed treats mirroring the much-awaited season. The treats include Strawberry Sakura McFloat, Nori Shake Shake Fries, Ebi Tempura Burger and Teriyaki Samurai Burger. The hype for these products is really high so The Eatventurers decided to try them out on the first day of their release. Here are our initial thoughts on McDo’s Flavors of Japan:

The Chinese community traditionally celebrates the Lunar New Year for 15 days so the revelries do not end with the new year countdown and the events during the new year itself. On February 5, Chinese communities from all over the world marked the beginning of the Year of the Earth Pig or boar. In view of this, the Eatventurers listed down places where you can get one of the most well-loved Chinese steamed pork dumplings, xiao long bao.
